Its hard to believe we’ve just finished our 10th rental season!  In some ways it seems like yesterday when we were scrambling to make everything perfect for our first rental in July 2003 with the Donohue family; But in many ways, we’ve worked REALLY hard over those years to keep improving our property, which we put so much pride and energy into, simply to share this amazing venue with all who venture !!

Since I’ve just spent the past week finally mastering my WordPress skills (yes, we DO actually work here in the VI too!), I’m going to save the “Three Palms – Before and After” blog post for another day.  Instead, I’d like to make this a tribute to WordPress.  Without this open source software, free to the world, I’d still be struggling using Adobe Creative Suite to make timely updates to our site (s).   It’s amazing to be able to post updates, specials and photos pretty much on the fly!  I still love creating with Photoshop, BUT content and timeliness are king.

So, as a tribute to WordPress, here’s a history of the Three Palms Villa Websites.  Thanks to all who have visited, both in person and only electronically over all these years !!!  It’s been my pleasure serving you and leading you to this magical place we call home.

Oh, and by the way … I hope you might notice that our RATES HAVE BARELY CHANGED.  This is the advantage of being self-managed … We aren’t forced to gauge our customers when the economy gets a little sketchy ….

Our rates still average between $71 – $98 per bedroom!
